  • Tiny Town is a government approved, licensed and accredited child care center.

    Our centre uses a ‘Learn through Play’ philosophy where the needs/interests of the children are observed and incorporated into the programming. Our goal is to offer no less than what we would expect for our very own children!
  • Our Center

    • We are a premier child care centre. Our  beautiful brand new facility, located in South-Central Edmonton, occupies over 3,000 square feet of Allendale Professional Centre (LEED Certified Class A Building).
    • We have separate age appropriate classrooms and each classroom has a certified teacher, along with an assistant teacher.
    • We have a huge outdoor playground that gives plenty of space for fresh air activities.
    • Our centre has the capacity to welcome up to 54 children, with ages ranging from infants, toddlers to pre-schoolers.
  • Our Staff

    • Our staff are caring and trained professionals with a commitment to quality care.
    • The majority are graduates of accredited post secondary child care training programs.
    • All staff is trained in CPR and First Aid.
    • They understand and have the skills to meet and challenge the developmental needs of the children.
  • Program Director/ Owner: Waseema Mahmood

    Waseema has been active in the field of early childhood education and development since 2000. She earned her Early Childhood Diploma in Edmonton, Alberta.

    The majority of her professional experience has been as a Program Director in Edmonton with children ages ranging from infant to school age. Presently, she continues her journey with Tiny Town Daycare as a Program Director and Owner.

    Waseema is a certified child development supervisor with Alberta Children Services. She is a member of ACCA (Alberta Child Care Association) and CCCF (Canadian Child Care Federation).

    Waseema’s family has been in Edmonton since 2003. In her spare time, Waseema likes to spend time with her husband Tariq and daughters (Maha and Heba).
